Project: Dedicated 8-seat cinema room within a luxury residence

This project was delivered as a purpose-built cinema room designed to feel integrated with the home’s wider interior style—cinema performance without visual noise. The intent was a room that feels comfortable and considered: balanced lighting, clean detailing, and a layout that works as well for family movie nights as it does for entertaining
Design intent
Create a space with a clear identity—cinematic, but not themed. A custom interior scheme was developed to give the room warmth and depth, with finishes and lighting chosen to support the viewing experience while keeping the overall look refined.
Systems
Picture
A BenQ 4K projector delivers a sharp, cinematic image, specified to suit the room size and seating distance, with the installation planned to keep ceiling and wall lines clean.
Sound
Dolby Atmos audio is delivered via a KEF speaker system, selected to provide clear dialogue, immersive surround, and controlled low-frequency performance appropriate for a dedicated cinema space.
Luxury Cinema Seating
The room features custom-built luxury cinema seating for eight, designed specifically for the space and the overall interior palette. The focus was on comfort for long viewing sessions, clean proportions, and a finish that feels consistent with the joinery and lighting scheme—so the seating looks like an intentional part of the design, not an add-on.
Build & delivery
The full fit-out was delivered by our internal team, working closely with our joinery partners to ensure the room’s structure, detailing and finishes aligned with the design intent. This approach allowed the technical elements—speaker provisions, cabling routes, access panels and equipment locations—to be resolved neatly within the final interior.
