Project: Dedicated cinema room within a luxury residence
Status: In progress — scheduled completion June 2026
This project is a purpose-built cinema space designed to sit naturally within the home’s interior scheme. The focus is on a room that feels composed and timeless — where performance is engineered in, but the visible layer remains quiet: clean lines, controlled lighting, comfortable seating layout, and considered detailing.
Design intent
Create a cinema room that feels like a destination space without becoming theatrical or technology-led. The room is being designed around the way it will be used — arrival ambience, pre-show lighting, distraction-free viewing, and a consistent experience for family nights and entertaining.

Picture
A JVC 4K laser projector has been specified to deliver cinema-grade image performance, with the integration planned to maintain clean ceiling and wall lines and avoid visual clutter.
Sound
Audio is built around a Lyngdorf 9.4.4 Dolby Atmos system, designed for immersive scale and controlled bass performance. Speaker placement and room considerations are being coordinated early so the finished room performs properly while keeping the visual layer discreet.

Content playback
Content playback is being delivered via a dedicated source solution, selected for reliability and picture/audio quality — suited to a room built for film, not background TV.
Control, lighting & climate (one joined-up experience)
Control is being unified so the room behaves as a single system — with lighting scenes and climate tuned to the viewing experience. The intention is simple operation and consistent results, rather than multiple remotes and competing apps.
